Dear Mr Starmer:

As a victim of Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (M.E.) since 1991 and being bed and house confined, mostly bed, and require caregiver services to keep me alive, and a concerned fellow human being, I am writing to state and request that it is not in the public interest to prosecute Kay Gilderdale and I am pleading with you to please intervene and drop the case.

There is a big buzz about the XMRV retrovirus , although many viruses have been found and related to ME/CFS, several I have tested positive for. There is quite the list now most of the testing is in the USA so of course is the latest one.  This latest retro-virus the ME/CFS community is excited for several reasons.

Metro Washington, DC healthy and ill Veterans of the 1991 Gulf War are
needed for a new medical study at Georgetown University comparing genetic
and other differences between those suffering from Gulf War illness and
their healthy Gulf War veteran counterparts.

The study, being led by Dr. James Baraniuk, M.D., will compare ill Gulf War
veterans genetic material to that of their healthy counterparts. Among the
study's goals is to develop a better understanding of how Gulf War illness
affects the human body -- particulary the central nervous system.

I thought this might be of interest because of the CFS cerebrospinal fluid
study connection currently underway at Georgetown led by Dr. Baraniuk.
