Visiting the Monterey Bay Aquarium
Host Beth Fisher shows you around a few exhibitions at the Monterey Bay Aquarium in Central California. This visit includes the permanent Outer Bay Exhibit, where you'll see sharks, sunfish, and tuna, and the Open Ocean Exhibit which shows off their extensive jellyfish collection. You'll also see beautiful footage from their temoprary exhibits The Secret Lives of Seahorses which showcases seahorses and their kin, including sea dragons and pipefish, and Hot Pink Flamingoes which demonstrates the dire effects that climate change is having on the oceans and earth.

Universal Silly Walk
Host Beth Fisher goes to the first Silly Walk for Hunger at Universal Citywalk Hollywood. Presented by Jon Lovitz Comedy Club, mashcast, and Rich & Tone Productions, the Silly Walk celebrated 40 years of Monty Python, and is helping raise money and food for the L.A. Food Bank. Hundreds of dancers and silly walkers took other visitors by surprise with their fun combination of dancing and silly walking for this charitable event.

Students surround Wheeler Hall and Library in
solidarity with students occupying Wheeler Hall and in an attempt to
stop more police from entering. Contrary to most media reports the 43 students did not break into Wheeler Hall in the morning. The students hid Thursday night when the building was being closed in. They spent the night in the building and began to barricade themselves in around 4AM. 3 Students were beaten and arrested around 5 or 6AM when police snuck into the basement from an underground tunnel connected to an adjacent building.

Cañada Flintridge, and Altadena. Evacuations are underway in northern
La Crescenta; Glendale neighborhoods north of Santa Carlotta Street;
the northern edges of La Cañada Flintridge; northwest Altadena; and the
Florecita neighborhood. Flames were pushing toward Big Tujunga Canyon
and Mt. Wilson. Zoom out for other fires.
