Four Days in May, the Kent State Truth Tribunal
Please join us for the Kent State Truth Tribunal
on May 1-4, 2010 at the Kent State University campus in Ohio.
This
year will mark the 40th anniversary of this low-point in American
history with the wounding of nine protesting students, the killing of
four and a horrible ending to the dreams of the sixties.
The truth about Kent State calls to be revealed this year!
You are invited to participate in Four Days in May, the Kent State Truth Tribunal.
We invite the extended family of 1970 Kent State Massacre and personally extend this invitation to each and every:

* Ohio National Guardsman
* Ohio/federal gov’t official
* Kent State Univ. administrator/educator
* Local resident

Please join us by traveling to Kent, Ohio and participating over the first four days of May 2010.
What we wish to achieve:
1. We will uncover the truth at the Kent State 40th Memorial
2. Let us come together in public participation, social media, art, the
Internet and music to rectify the mistruths and wrongs as we correct
history.
3. Only with your help, spirit and participation shall the
truth emerge and this tribunal be effective in creating the healing we
seek.
As we are a grassroots organization forming RIGHT NOW, your participation is imperative.
We
are wishing to create a collaborative, multimedia, sharing event to
dialog, document, discover and uncover the truth in the events leading
to the killing of four students and the wounding of nine at the Kent
State Massacre occurring on May 4, 1970.
We call all those
affected by the Kent State Massacre to come forth and be heard! You
will be able to share your story, have it documented and woven in the
true history of what occurred at Kent State.
As the 40th
anniversary May 4, 2010 swiftly approaches, we gear up to utilize every
effort in creating Four Days in May, the Kent State Truth Tribunal.

"Kent State, The Day The War Came Home" contains an extensive interview with Barry Levine, Allison's boyfriend at the time of the shootings, as well as the only accounts of the incident by National Guardsmen who shot students. I suggest you view the film before questioning its accuracy. It wouldn't have won an Emmy Award and be considered the definitive account of the Kent State shootings if it had any problems with accuracy.

You might be interested to know that the Emmy Award winning documentary, "Kent State, The Day the War Cam Home" is being released on DVD for the upcoming 40th anniversary. In its review of the program, The Hollywood Reporter stated, "This extraordinary hour long doc is so good, so well constructed, that it can't help but leave viewers feeling as if they themselves were on the bloody scene of the Kent State carnage..." for more go to kentstatedvd.com
Readers Please Note:
Mark Mori's comment above is not in any way condoned or affiliated with my sister Allison Krause (slain at Kent State in 1970) and/or the Kent State Truth Tribunal. Furthermore we have never seen his 'award winning' documentary and wonder about the accuracy of his Hollywood Reporter claim.
