G20 Reflection by Daniel Roth

Forward widely and write about your experiences too.

G20 in Toronto (June 26th-28th, 2010):

This reflection is unedited. It is one of the thousands that need to be told. I was inspired to write this when another reflection came my way earlier today.

I had a relatively easier time of it than most this past weekend in Toronto, but I believe that the police, the governments and everyone else must hear our stories. Silence is not an option at this point. Letting the seizure of freedoms that occured this weekend in Toronto stand without dissent means that it is/will be possible anywhere and anytime. This will inevitably mean that it will happen everywhere and every time people (any people) want to speak out and make the world a better place.

G20 Resistance 9-24-09

On September 24th 2009 Pittsburgh residents and supporters throughout the country (and the world) organize an "unpermitted" march toward downtown Pittsburgh only to be blocked by riot police using LRAD sound cannons and C2 gas (which is a hybrid of pepper gas/spray). Unable to express themselves peacefully by marching the irate crowd is forced to confront police using such lethal weapons as middle fingers, dumpsters, as well as their voices.

Climate G20 Monday

The Seeds of Peace Bus & Everybody's Kitchen have been tirelessly trying to feed the people coming to Pittsburgh to express their 1st amendment rights despite a nearly constant police presence and unwarranted harassment. Even while dealing with a constant threat of drummed up arrests and confiscated buses they were still able to feed 200 people today. So There.

I just heard that they were once again being surrounded by the Cops.. 3am

Police State: a music video about life

Find VOICE online

Our ancestors laid the ground work for this with their apathetic selfishness. Whether something can be done to keep our next generations out of work camps and able to continue pretending they are free as we are able to do.. Or Not depends on how we respond to the loses currently being extracted from us.
