My Toilet Bowl is Bugged! (Redux)
by Phil Polizatto, WWH/CJE - The Water Department came by the other day to install a small metering device under the lip of my toilet bowl. When I asked the reason, he said it would provide useful data concerning the amount of water I use, but I was suspicious. He tried to allay my concern by saying it would be useful not only to the Water Department, but to me as well. I might conserve more water after learning how much I really use and thereby have the incentive to flush less. He also warned me that if I tampered with it, it would set off an alarm at the Department’s headquarters, and they would immediately come out to see what was wrong. So not to worry. It was for my own good.

One of the objectives of the false flag Boston Marathon bombing terror attack, was to create fear, confusion, anger, and hatred, in the subconscious minds of the masses, the millions of people who absorb and accept the "New Normal", whenever the people in power implement a tactic or agenda (Problem).

Direct Action, Occupy and the Power of Social Movements: An Interview With Noam Chomsky
Direct Action, Occupy and the Power of Social Movements: An Interview With Noam Chomsky
Submitted by Shane Burley of Rochester Red and Black on Thu, 2013-04-18 19:37
Shane Burley of Rochester Red and Black interviewed Noam Chomsky for his upcoming housing documentary "Expect Resistance."
Original article can be found here:
As a commentator, educator, public intellectual, and one of the best known anarchist voices in the U.S., Noam Chomsky has become a defining perspective as social movements develop. His analysis of the shift in global capitalism, and our own role in its flux, has seen a recharge of importance as we entered the “new normal” of the post-2008 economy. Like was done with workplace struggles at the birth of the union movement, we are attempting to locate housing struggles out of the abstract legislative sphere and back into the neighborhoods. With the foreclosure crisis and the Occupy Movement that followed, a housing movement that saw occupation and defense as central began to be birthed against all conventional wisdom.
I sat down with Noam Chomsky to discuss the growing Take Back the Land and housing justice movements, the nature of the foreclosure crisis, the Occupy Movement, and what radical politics will look like in this new period of social movements.

Revolution 99% Update: Mind, Body and Soul; The Activist WMD
Why the Police in Michael Premo’s Occupy Wall Street Trial Are Unlikely To Face Perjury Charges
Many of the readers who commented on last week’s story about Michael Premo, the Occupy Wall Street protester who beat his criminal charges last week thanks to video evidence, wanted to know: Would the police officer whose testimony was contradicted by the video face any consequences? Would he be charged with perjury?
The short answer is: Don’t hold your breath.
But that’s not to say that a closer look at Premo’s trial doesn’t reinforce the impression that the police testimony against him looks a lot like perjury.

Protesters shut down Wells Fargo Bank in Richmond
About a dozen protesters shut down a Wells Fargo Bank during the lunch hour Wednesday.
The protest was organized by Alliance of Californians for Community Empowerment (ACCE), which also staged demonstrations at branches in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Oakland and San Diego.
The protests launched what ACCE calls a “campaign calling on Wells Fargo to enact a broad principal reduction program, reduce short sales and release data on borrowers helped by income and race.”
Bank officials in Richmond temporarily closed the doors at the 4300 Macdonald Ave. branch as the protesters marched in a circle and chanted, “Banks got bailed out, we got sold out.” Customers still used automated teller machines nearby. More…

Two fiery protests in as many days, Tibetan self-immolator passes away
WS – When compared to the Tibetan Monks; My activism is “no match”.
In more alarming reports coming out of Tibet, another Tibetan, who is a close relative of a Tibetan self-immolator, set himself on fire today protesting China’s continued occupation of Tibet.
Tsezung Kyab, 27, torched himself in front of the main prayer hall of the Shitsang Monastery in Luchu region of eastern Tibet at around 1:30 pm (local time). He passed away at his protest site, the same place where his cousin Pema Dorjee, 23, passed away in his self-immolation protest on December 8, 2012.
At the time of filing this report, additional details on today’s protest are awaited.
This is the second self-immolation protest in Tibet in as many days. Yesterday, Phagmo Dhondup, a Tibetan in his 20’s set himself ablaze near the Jhakhyung Monastery in Palung region of eastern Tibet. His condition and whereabouts are not known. More…

As The Cookie Crumbles: Pay Attention (Video)
By Dr. Woody,WWH/CJE -

Workers’ right of all kinds, and vital concessions wrung from the Bosses with workers’ blood over the last 150 years are being rescinded by legislatures kowtowing to business interests all over the country. It seems to Citizen Journalist, Dr. Woody Konopak, that those rescinding the advances should pay the same kind of price as those paid who won them in the first place.

Spectra Spells Disaster Capitalism
New York, December 1, 2012--Today's 1 pm protest rally at Spectra Energy's construction site in the West Village had as its focus the expedited construction work taking place this week-end. Prior to shutting up shop for the winter, Spectra is rushing through the installation of their high pressure natural gas pipeline under the Hudson from New Jersey to emerge at the Gansevoort site, where Con Edison will pick up the work and build out the last section of the pipe to link to their distribution system. About 150 to 200 people attended the rally, organized by Occupy the Pipeline. Monica Hunken of OTP and Clare Donohune, of Sane Energy Project, commented on the significant gas news of the week: namely, the passage of HR 2606 by President Obama which will allow drilling to take place in national parks and wildlife sanctuaries, areas reserved for recreation; and in an instance of particularly egregious timing, a pipeline to be constructed through the Rockaways, an area devastated by hurricane Sandy and still in the process of recovery. |
6 Months Prison for Presenting a Petition
My name is Brian Terrell. I'm co-coordinator of a group called Voices for Creative Nonviolence. We support the petition to ban drones organized by RootsAction. http://act.rootsaction.org/p/dia/action/public/?action_KEY=6180
On November 30th I report for six months in a federal prison in Yankton, S.D., as a result of protesting drones.
The appearance of war being made easy by drones is resulting in more war. In Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen, Somalia, and in places we don't know about, in places where we are not at war, we're sending these unmanned pilotless airplanes into foreign air space to hunt down people who've been accused of crimes only in the private court of the administration. They're hunted down and killed along with anybody who might be in the immediate vicinity.
Drones are creating new wars rather than scaling down old ones. Drone pilots in Afghanistan have been targeted and killed. Drone pilots in the United States suffer PTSD at higher rates than real pilots.
Drone victims are 98% innocent civilians according to the recent Stanford/NYU study. The other 2% are targeted victims of murder without charge, trial, due process, or in many cases even knowing the target's name.
Drones buzzing over houses traumatize children before they kill them. That those children are (in most cases) not American hardly diminishes the immorality.
Drones are rapidly being developed and deployed by other nations. Would you support the equal right of other nations to kill with drones in this country? And if not, why not? And how can that thinking not apply to U.S. policy as well?

Anti-Austerity Protest at Portland Business Alliance - JWJ 11.2.12.
This the 11/2/12 video footage from the Portland Oregon action at noon: "Jobs With Justice Conducts Pre-November 3rd Direct Action Against the Portland Business Alliance to Highlight Links to Austerity.
Austerity is a systematic policy to balance the budget off the backs of the working class by cutting public services, privatizing resources, and burdening people with enormous private debt. Due to astronomical amounts of military spending, obscene tax cuts for the richest Americans, and a market crash caused by the fraud and casino behavior of Wall Street, our country is in massive debt at the national, state, and municipal levels. In Portland, this means school budget cuts and closures, library cuts, crumbling infrastructure, increased student debt, foreclosures, a race to the bottom in labor standards, and a lack of power or voice for our communities in decis ion making.
