Occupy J31 Solidarity for Farmers Against Monsanto

New York City, Jan 31--Farmers from Maine to Saskatchewan took part in the pretrial phase of the Osgata v. Monsanto lawsuit filed to protect farmers' crops from contamination by Monsanto's transgenic seeds and expose them to abusive lawsuits. As a result of these lawsits, Monsanto has spread fear in rural America abd driven dozens of small farmers into bankruptcy. The Federal Distrtict Court has agreed to hear oral arguments in this landmark case to decide whether or not the case will proceed.
