The Following Statement was released minutes ago regarding this June 2014 incident. When asked for copies of these reports, pictures and videos, I was told the reports are not going to be released and are for OMI (internalt affairs) use only. Ariel Lawther, the woman arrested and assaulted by the officer declined comment but referred me to her lawyer who was unavailable when I called. (Left a message)
STATEMENT BY CITY SOLICITOR LOURDES SANCHEZ-RIDGE ON FINDINGS IN PRIDEFEST PARADE ARREST
PITTSBURGH, PA - “The city promised a fair and thorough investigation of a June 15arrest at the PrideFest parade. That investigation is now completed, and a final report by the Office of Municipal Investigations, including an analysis completed by an independent consultant, has determined that the officer involved did not use excessive force.
This administration is dedicated to objectivity, and objective reviews of the entirety of the evidence may not always reveal what one video, one photograph, or one statement might reveal alone. While OMI exonerated the officer in this case, it also obtained an independent third-party use of force review by an outside agency that arrived at the same conclusion. It will be city policy from this point forward to seek third-party analysis in all excessive force investigations, just as we did in this case.
Under city law, it is the responsibility of OMI to investigate allegations of employee misconduct, including allegations of police misconduct, and provide the results of their investigations to city leaders.

In this video, a man commits suicide by cop in Riverview, Mo about 15 minutes away from Ferguson, Mo.
The man supposedly was mentally unstable and had just stolen 2 cans or bottles of soda from a store.
In the video, the man doesn't have a gun AND begs police to kill him. POLICE SAY THE MAN PULLES A KNIFE OUT OF HIS RIGHT HOODIE POCKET AND KEPT WALKING TOWARDS THEM WHEN THEY OPENED FIRE.
The video is hard to tell if he did have a knife or not.
He was shot 9 times

Alright, so this is the second part of the August 2nd, 2011 debt default/assembly. Before getting into that, I wanted to let folks know I recently met with a web developer to run some ideas by him to build a webpage. Just playing with ideas, you know.. I can probably say that’s what OWS might have been about…playing with ideas-plural. Like some sloppy idea exchange that turned into idolatry. I’m also sick, so not really feeling writing this, but don’t know what else to do–Soooo..
August 2nd, 2011 part duex,
So, after epic screaming battles between the rally and assembly folks, an assembly started to take place at the same time as the rally. This went completely counter to the schedule that wasn’t widely shared. There was an allocated time and space for both, but plans go as they do, and fell apart. I didn’t really get to be part of the first general assembly, because I was busy trying to deflect white shirts. Remember, the white shirts, the ones who get to give commands. Anyway, they don’t like when a group of people sit together. So, when they saw about 20 or so people break off and sit in a circle, they got really curious.
I walked up to a white shirt. “Hey! How are you? I’m the police liaison and wanted to make sure that I was available for any questions.”
He looked at me and waved his arm to the people sitting down,
“What are they doing?”
I looked over at them, back to the white shirt and read the little name tag on his chest-Winski,

I can’t remember getting up, or getting ready to go, but I remember getting there. The rally was set at bowling green park. You know, the park with the big wall street bull pictured on the flyer? I arrived to the rally and general assembly just in time to see the rally folks setting up this tiny PA. They had a line of their speakers next to the mic. I went into police liaison mode, and tried to check in with my co-police liaison. We’d chosen two at that meeting, and I was little rusty.
